Canterbury Real Estate's Privacy Policy is designed to help you understand how we collect and use information on the Canterbury Real Estate's website (the "Site").

The Information We Collect
Personally identifiable information is information that others can use to identify you, such as your name, address, email address, credit card number or phone number. When you register on and throughout your use of the Site you provide Canterbury Real Estate with certain personally identifiable information including without limitation your name, address, ZIP Code, email address, telephone number, information about whether you plan on buying and/or selling property, home search criteria, information about financing for the purchase of property and other information related to the sale and/or purchase of property.
Additionally, Canterbury Real Estate's servers automatically record information sent by your browser when you use the Canterbury Real Estate Site, including Internet Protocol address, browser type and language, and date and time of request. We may also collect information using cookies, web beacons or similar technologies.
When you send email or other communication to Canterbury Real Estate, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our service.
How We Use Information
Depending on your use of the Site and the services you request from Canterbury Real Estate, we may use your personally identifiable information for the following purposes:
- To enable our Canterbury Real Estate Sales Agents to contact you and provide personal service, or to provide you with personalized content, including email messages and/or search results.
- To facilitate all aspects of the sale and/or purchase (or potential sale and/or purchase) of real estate.
- For the purposes for which you provided the information, including to process and respond to inquiries and to contact you about services you have requested.
- To improve the content and navigability of the Site.

In the future, we may sell some or all or our assets. In such transactions, customer information generally is one of the transferred business assets. In the event of a sale of our assets including our database, customer information will be transferred. We will require buyers to honor our privacy policy.
Sharing Of Information
Canterbury Real Estate may disclose your personally identifiable information to another entity (i) for purposes of outsourcing one or more of the functions described in the previous section; (ii) to confirm or update information provided by you; (iii) to inform you of important information; (iv) as a part of a sale of assets as described in the previous section; (v) with other companies for the purposes of marketing products to you after obtaining your consent; and/or (vi) as otherwise authorized by you.
Canterbury Real Estate will provide you with an opportunity to opt-in to share information with and receive information from Canterbury Real Estate partners. When you opt-in to share information with and receive information from Canterbury Real Estate's partners, your information will be shared with these partners at Canterbury Real Estate's discretion. You may at any point withdraw your consent to share information with these third parties by sending an email with the subject "Do Not Share Information" to Privacy@canterburyrealtor.com. Canterbury Real Estate will stop sharing your information within 10 (ten) days after receiving your request; provided, however, that information shared prior to that time will remain in the possession of Canterbury Real Estate's partners and may continue to be used consistent with this Privacy Policy.
Canterbury Real Estate may transmit your personally identifiable information to third parties involved with your sale and/or purchase (or potential sale and/or purchase) of real estate. These parties include, but are not limited to insurance providers, lenders, appraisers, home warranty providers and inspectors. You also give Canterbury Real Estate permission to transmit your personally identifiable information to other parties or real estate agents involved in your sale and/or purchase process.
You may choose to work with companies that are not affiliated with or related to Canterbury Real Estate, including without limitation lending institutions, title companies, insurers, appraisers, home warranty companies and other service providers, in connection with your real estate transaction. These companies may each have their own privacy policies governing how they handle your personally identifiable information. Canterbury Real Estate accepts no responsibility or liability for third party privacy policies or the actions of any third party with respect to your personally identifiable information.
Information that is de-identified (stripped of any information that could be used to identify you) may be used by Canterbury Real Estate for any reason and shared freely with affiliates, the press, partners and other third parties. This information is usually aggregated (combined with information from many other users), and may include information such as Site traffic patterns, trends, demographics, search patterns and other information.
Third Party Advertising
Third-party advertisers may serve you ads when you visit the Site. Some of these companies may use information about your visits to Canterbury Real Estate and other websites in order to provide advertisements about goods and services that may be of interest to you.

California Privacy Rights

To receive such a notice, submit a written request to the address listed in the Contact section below, specifying that you seek your "California Customer Choice Notice." Please allow thirty days for a response.
Account Deactivation
Your Canterbury Real Estate account can be de-activated at any time by contacting Privacy@canterburyrealtor.com. However, you will not be able to access any of the services offered by Canterbury Real Estate if you choose to deactivate your account.
Viewing and Updating Your Information
You may edit your preferences or request changes to the information you have provided at any time by sending email to Privacy@canterburyrealtor.com or by using the Site. If you have lost your password, you may request a new one by sending an email to Privacy@canterburyrealtor.com. You may also contact your sales agent to edit the information you provide to Canterbury Realty.
